    He just made me realize that something in me has been asleep.

    I haven’t felt goosebumps like that in so long, because my passion has been held at bay by my fucked up mind-chatter.

    Does it feel like there’s a missing piece to your sales process?

    Today’s blog is about how to dig a little deeper, to uncover where you’re feeling stunted with growing your business.

    Your sales process encompasses more than just the physical aspect of selling.

    Systems and processes are just as important as ensuring you’re feeling balance in other areas.

    It’s super important to understand what’s going on energetically, otherwise you’ll end up feeling misaligned to the very thing you love.

    In order to get from point A to B, you need to first be clear that you are indeed at point A, and gather your bearings.

    Have a clear understanding of where you are now, will allow you to create a map of where you’d like to go.

    In Business this may show up as impulsive and reactive if you don’t have an outline of where you’re headed.

    Block off some time to take stock of what’s going on for you right now.

    Does your Client Path (Sales Process/Funnel) take your clients on a journey of discovery to learn about you, and transform along the way too?

    Are your love letters (auto-responder emails) filled with value or fluff?

    Which product does each freebie pathway lead them to?

    Chakra Business

    Now it’s time to take care of ENERGETIC Business.

    You can take care of all the external aspects of business, but if you’re cylinders aren’t running smoothly then it can all be in vain.

    It doesn’t have to be a long complex process.

    Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths.

    In your mind’s eye see a gorgeous column of light coming into the top of your head.

    Allow it to move through your body and visualize each chakra spinning clean and brightly and going back into the earth.

    Take a few more deep breaths and open your eyes gently.

    Grab your journal and write down what comes up for you.

    Do you wonder how Mercury Retrograde affects your business, and why there’s so much fear and hype around it?
    Mercury is the planet of communication, and is known as the messenger.
    It also rules transport, computers and travel.

    What Is It Exactly?

    Basically Mercury moves off it’s normal course 3-4 times a year. It appears to be going backwards and takes 3-3.5 weeks to get back on track.

    Why Should You Be Aware?

    This doesn’t have to be a scary time, it’s about being aware, thorough and cautious before proceeding into something new.

    The upside to this is that we sometimes run on  auto-pilot, and this time allows us to step back into our bodies and see things through fresh eyes.

    One important thing I’d like to highlight.

    Be sure to back up both your computer and website.  Both can be backed up directly to Google or Dropbox via plugin or to an external drive.

    What Works Really Well.

    Check in With Old Clients

    Rather than trying to source new clients, check in with old clients, and leads you haven’t contacted for some time. Use this time to use notice the untapped resources around you instead of seeking new.

    Revisit The Old

    If you’re anything like me you’ve probably got hundreds of ideas that you’ve either written, or somewhat started and not had a chance to finish. Go through these again and see if anything springs out at you.

    Reflection

    It’s time to take stock of finances, clients, marketing methods, time + energy management. Time to slow down, with less pushiness. This does NOT mean do nothing, it’s more about intentional action.

    Time to get clear on what needs to be taken care of, use this time to finish the incomplete.

    Business Nesting

    Think of it like spiritual de-cluttering for your business. What thoughts, ideas, clients and things in your physical space need to be cleared?

    What Doesn’t Work So Well.

    Long Term or Big Decisions

    Don’t make any decisions that lock you in. When signing any documents, double and triple check the fine print first.

    Jumping To Conclusions

    Stop and breathe before making any decisions. Miscommunication so easily happens during Mercury Retrograde.

    Unleashing

    Communication awareness is key here. Now is not the time to release pent up emotions as it may not be received in the way that you intend it.

    Also, take time think about how you’re generally communicating with your clients, tribe, suppliers and as well as colleagues.

    In summary:

    • Take the time for plenty introspection.
    • Patience is required .
    • Don’t read too much into what people say and write.
    • Ask questions, before making firm decisions, and creating opinions.
    • Finish things you’ve already started.
    • Reflect on the way you communicate, and receive information.
    • Slow down.

    You may already know that I’ve been on a journey of self-healing.
    You can PUSH all you like, but when your body and soul have enough everything just shuts down.
    Then you reach the dreaded apathy, which in my opinion is far worse than actually having even negative emotions.
    Picking up the pieces may be tough, but if I’m being honest was quite rewarding.
    It’s allowed me to strip away all the ‘shoulds’ to focus on what truly matters.
    I don’t think I ever really shared what my heart desires. I’ve hinted at it, talked around it, and perhaps even shared some strategies around it.
    I’m a classic Virgo in so many ways. The dependable, strong fixer. Herein lies the problem, getting so lost in your default mode isn’t necessarily a good thing.

    Well in my case it wasn’t.
    Habits and patterns can be changed, if you DECIDE so.
    I had a mini breakdown 6 months ago, and I didn’t even realize it was THAT until a couple of weeks ago.
    Yes you read that right.
    It took me 6 months to piece it all together.

    Mind Body Spirit Business Reset
    Talking to my Sister (a fellow Virgo) we were reflecting on how we try to minimize our pain in order to not put anyone out, or make them feel uncomfortable.
    We’re so into helping others, that we overlook ourselves.
    I mean you’ve got big missions, right?
    Clients to help, kids to look after, Mum/Siblings/Husband and the list goes on.
    You can’t quench someone’s thirst from an empty well.
    Fill your own cup first, before you reach the point I did.
    Stuffing away your needs and pain, doesn’t make them miraculously disappear, rather it makes things sooo much worse than dealing with them in real time.
    Imagine not even knowing how to ask for help.

    Yep that was me!
    I have a HIGH emotional pain threshold.
    I’ve gone through massive heartache and life lessons, quietly with no fuss and then I see someone going through something similar and think wow I don’t know if I’m a glutton for punishment or brave for handling it the way I did.
    Can you relate? or is it just me lol
    You need to know that you’re not alone.
    I see you.
    The pain in your eyes.
    The emotional weight of the pain you’re holding onto.
    Feeling alone.
    Disconnected.
    Less than.
    Unworthy.
    I’ve been there.

    In fact I’m a work in progress.
    I’m not miles ahead of you, just a few steps so the pain is still fresh in my mind.
    There were many things that helped me move forward, but I can honestly say the single most powerful one was journaling.
    I highly recommend it’s therapeutic benefits, as well as manifesting magic.

    The Struggle Is Real :: Here’s How To Turn It Into Productive Action

    Turn Struggle Into Productive Action

    Fast pace frantic does not equal success..

    Hustle doesn’t mean being frazzled.

    In the last few weeks, I’ve been doing so much more journaling, and what came up was that struggle had been defining who I was.

    I say who I was because I’m no longer choosing this way of being.

    As part of a program I’m doing, I asked myself what abundance would mean to me, and wrote a bunch of positive things I’m manifesting.

    The second part of it was asking myself why I would NOT choose this?

    This is what I wrote:

    I’d lose my struggle.
    Not sure how to live without struggling and striving. Pushing makes me feel alive at times. Not sure how to get this and be able to uphold it all.
    If I’m not successful I don’t have much to lose. The struggle has become part of me.
    It has defined me and become a badge of honour.
    Look how strong and resilient I am.
    Where else would I get my drive?
    I now realize there’s other ways to show my strength and resilience.
    Who woulda thought that was going on below the surface?

    There’s other ways to feel driven that don’t involve mental and physical exhaustion.

    I’m all about the hustle + flow.

    The push and make shit happen is my default mode.

    In that mode of operation, I used to forget about the flow part, which resulted in highs and lows.

    Consistent action is where it’s at.

    I used to try and micro-manage my appointments for each day and it was tiring.

    What I’m doing instead, is time blocking.

    So my day consists of the following:

    • Journaling/mindset + writing
    • Study
    • Social Media
    • To-do list
    • Movement (Health)

    I’m finding so much more joy and creative flow in doing it this way.

    It doesn’t mean that I’m punching the clock, and I complete what I’m doing until I feel DONE.

    If it’s 10am and it’s study time, but I’m in a creative flow of writing or journaling – then I ain’t stopping girlfriend 🙂

    I’m also working on NOT getting on my phone as soon as I open my eyes.

    It’s time to use that energy and focus on creativity that flows out of me. That makes me feel alive and ready to show up for my tribe.

    What increases your creative flow?

    Write 3-5 things that you can do every morning before you jump on your phone, (check emails/social media).

    For me it’s:

    • Taking a few deep breaths before jumping out of bed
    • Wash my face/brush teeth
    • Take my Daughter to school
    • Journal
    • Write

    If you ever feel stuck, think about the big picture and work back from there.

    What’s your true calling?

    Think beyond the money, popularity, fame etc
    How do you want to impact peeps lives?
    What legacy would you like to leave behind?

    My calling is to share my journey to help women stop settling for mediocre, and understand their true magnificence.

    It’s been my own personal journey so I speak from experience.
